There are three gay bars (Playa 69, Wana Bana Bar, the other I don't recall the name) but there is another that you will surely like as it is mixed and loads. All clubs and spaces of Playa del Carmen are gay friendly and you will see the boys all around on the 5th avenue and the beaches. The only gay bar in Playa del Carmen's town center, the club is in a popular area for gay and lesbians. On weekends, show up for the Friday and Saturday night.

These parks are less crowded and cleaner than public beaches and offer snorkeling, tubing, and general exploring in a more intimate environment. Being so far out of town and quieter, this beach attracts few guests and is known for nude sunbathing and cruising. Playa del Carmen is home to some incredible events and whilst we were there we we lucky enough to end up at a circuit party deep in the jungle surrounded by beautiful cenotes and even more beauitful men! Thank you for your personal experience. This is the larger swath of resort property that is separate from the town center but still generally considered to be Playa del Carmen.
